Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Crawford Colts (San Diego, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Castle Park improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to San Ysidro (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Cougars in a test on Friday, April 18. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-3.

The Colts now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a test on Tuesday, April 8. Crawford will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-3.
