In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Central Regional Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Toms River South Indians.

The Golden Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ). The Jaguars come into the Shore - A South challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Jackson Memorial edged Toms River North (Toms River, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Toms River East Raiders (Toms River, NJ) in a Shore - A South challenge, on Monday, April 7. Toms River South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Central Regional (Bayville, NJ).
