The Liberty Patriots baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Independence Falcons to 0 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.

The Patriots now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Frontier for a test on Monday, April 7. Liberty will play a Titans team coming off a 10-0 league win over Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA). The Titans record now stands at 8-3.

With the defeat, Independence drops to 0-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Wolf Pack in a test on Monday, April 7. The Wolf Pack go into the test with a record of 9-4. Ridgeview won 4-3 in their recent league test against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA)
