West Virginia High School Lacrosse - John Marshall overwhelms St. Albans

April 4, 2025: St. Albans, WV 25177

In Friday's league contest, the visiting John Marshall Monarchs lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-7 triumph over the St. Albans Red Dragons.

The Monarchs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson County (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Wild go into the WVSLA - Division II contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Jefferson County was overwhelmed by Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 12-5, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Red Dragons meet the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) in a WVSLA - Division II contest, on Saturday, April 5. St. Albans will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 8-7 league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV).
