The Auburn Tigers soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Opelika Bulldogs to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Smiths Station for a 7A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, April 8. Auburn will play a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Russell County (Seale, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Opelika moves to 2-11 on the year. The Bulldogs host Glenwood (Phenix City, AL) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Monday, April 7. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Glenwood won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL)
