The East Rowan Mustangs soccer team (Salisbury, NC), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Friday's league match with the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC)

With the triumph, Central Cabarrus moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to meet the Knights in a South Piedmont 3A match on Wednesday, April 9. The Knights come into the match with a record of 7-2.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Carson for a South Piedmont 3A match on Tuesday, April 8. East Rowan will meet a Cougars team coming off a 4-0 league win over West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-5.
