Fans at Friday's league battle between the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) and the visiting White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), saw Dixon's soccer squad triumph over White Oak by a count of 6-0.

The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots enter the Coastal 3A battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, West Carteret was overwhelmed by Richlands (Richlands, NC), 8-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a Coastal 3A battle, on Tuesday, April 8. White Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
