Next, the Spartans face the Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) in a Quad County 3A game, on Tuesday, April 8. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Demons enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 9-0 league win over South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC).

The Saints (0-8) will now prepare for their game against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors enter the Quad County 3A game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, East Wake was overwhelmed by Rolesville (Rolesville, NC), 6-0, in a non-league game.
