In Friday's league game, the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers baseball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Grant Lancers.

The Vipers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA). The White Tigers go into the game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Vaughn knocked off Bravo (Los Angeles, CA), 10-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Lancers play the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a game, on Wednesday, April 9. Grant will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 4-8 record after their 9-6 league loss to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA).
