New York High School Lacrosse - Williamsville South nips Amherst Central

In Friday's league contest, the host Williamsville South Billies lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 triumph over the Amherst Central Tigers.

The Billies (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Redhawks go into the Class C contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Iroquois held off West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY), 16-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Hamburg Bulldogs (Hamburg, NY) in a Class C contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Amherst Central will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 10-7 league win over Grand Island (Grand Island, NY).
