The Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the host Hoggard Vikings to 9 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Laney for a Mideastern challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Topsail will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 17-1 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Hoggard falls to 7-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Mideastern challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-8. New Hanover won 10-4 in their recent league challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
