With the triumph, Ames moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Little Cyclones host West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to clash with the Warhawks in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Warhawks come into the test with a record of 1-0. West Fork won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA)
The Dragons now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Polk for a CIML test on Monday, April 7. Johnston will clash with a Rams team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Indianola (Indianola, IA). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
