Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA), 10-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Glenvar moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers test on Tuesday, April 8. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Carroll County lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Alleghany (Covington, VA)

The Cougars now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Radford for a Three Rivers test on Monday, April 7. Patrick County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.
