Pennsylvania High School Softball - Abington Heights tipped by Valley View

April 4, 2025: Archbald, PA 18403

Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA), 2-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Valley View upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Scranton (Scranton, PA) to play the Knights in a Lackawanna 1 game on Monday, April 7. The Knights enter the game with a record of 1-4. Scranton lost 17-0 in their recent non-league game against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA)

The Comets now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Loyalsock Township for a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. Abington Heights will play a Lancers squad coming off a 21-2 league win over Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-1.
