The Andrew Jackson Volunteers overwhelmed the host Chesterfield Golden Rams softball squad by a count of 8-3 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Volunteers meet the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets (Anderson, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 5. Andrew Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Woodmont (Piedmont, SC).
The Golden Rams (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Buford held off North Central (Kershaw, SC), 9-4, in a league challenge.
