The Tahanto Regional Stags edged the host Ayer Shirley Panthers softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Stags meet the Littleton Tigers (Littleton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 7. Tahanto Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA).
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bromfield (Harvard, MA). The Trojans enter the Midland-Wachusett D challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Bromfield edged Murdock (Winchendon, MA), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
