The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA) and the visiting Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA), observed Monomoy's softball team prevail over Bourne by a tally of 13-1.

The Sharks (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Sturgis East (Hyannis, MA). The Storm go into the Cape & Islands bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Sturgis East knocked off Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA), 17-13, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Canalmen clash with the Fairhaven Blue Devils (Fairhaven, MA) in a South Coast bout, on Monday, April 7. Bourne will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
