In Friday's league match, the host Georgetown Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 9-4 win over the Calvin Cougars.
The Bulldogs (12-10) will now prepare for their match against Weston (Jonesboro, LA). The Wolves come into the non-league match with a 6-12 record.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Harrisonburg Bulldogs (Harrisonburg, LA) in a C District 2 match, on Tuesday, April 8. Calvin will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 15-6 record after their 4-2 league loss to Monterey (Monterey, LA).
