In Friday's league match, the visiting Champlin Park Rebels softball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Rogers Royals.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Blaine (Blaine, MN). The Bengals go into the Northwest Suburban match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Blaine tipped Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN), 2-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Royals battle the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) in a Northwest Suburban match, on Friday, April 4. Rogers will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
