In Friday's league test, the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars (Henderson, NV), by a tally of 22-1.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Clark Chargers (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Desert test, on Monday, April 7. Cimarron-Memorial will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 9-4 record after their 5-2 league loss to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV).
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV). The Jaguars go into the 4A Desert test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Desert Pines was routed by Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV), 7-0, in a league test.
