In Friday's league test, the Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA) softball squad got by the host Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Antioch, CA), by a count of 16-15.

Next, the Marlins meet the Urban Blues (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - West test, on Tuesday, April 15. Making Waves Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.

The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their test against The Bay School (San Francisco, CA). The Breakers go into the Bay Counties - West test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, The Bay School was nudged by San Domenico (San Anselmo, CA), 5-2, in a league test.
