DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA), 17-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, DeQuincy improves its record to 15-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fairview (Grant, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, April 7. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 5-5.

The Hornets now hold a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Oberlin for a 1A District 5 game on Tuesday, April 8. Grand Lake will play a Tigers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-11.
