The Edison Spartans softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Dryden Lions to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a Section 4 Interscholastic - South Large battle on Monday, April 7. Edison will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Schalmont (Schenectady, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Dryden moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions host Lansing (Lansing, NY) to confront the Bobcats in a Section 4 Interscholastic - North Large battle on Monday, April 7. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Lansing lost 6-0 in their recent non-league battle against Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY)
