In Friday's league match, the host Mid Valley Spartans softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Dunmore Bucks.

The Spartans (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats come into the Lackawanna 3 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Western Wayne was routed by Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 9-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bucks confront the Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 5. Dunmore will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).
