The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders overwhelmed the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 5-4 league win over Cranford (Cranford, NJ).
The Minutemen (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Highlanders go into the UCC - Watchung challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Governor Livingston toppled Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 18-2, in a non-league challenge.
