The Lamar County Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Fayette County Tigers to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berry for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. Lamar County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Fayette County moves to 6-13 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Lamar (Millport, AL) to confront the Stallions in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Stallions come into the battle with a record of 10-7. South Lamar won 5-1 in their recent non-league battle against Berry (Berry, AL)
