Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), 12-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Fort Bend Travis improves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Tigers host Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 7-10. Fort Bend Austin won 9-2 in their recent league game against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)

The Knights now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Bush for a 6A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, April 8. Fort Bend Elkins will play a Broncos squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 7-7.
