The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles (Washington Township, NJ) and the visiting Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), observed Immaculate Heart Academy's softball team prevail over Ridgewood by a tally of 9-1.

The Blue Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Red Bank Catholic knocked off Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ), 9-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Maroons clash with the Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 5. Ridgewood will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 19-6 non-league win over Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ).
