The Irving Tigers (Irving, TX) softball routed the visiting Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 18-1 in Friday's league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region I District 7 outing on Tuesday, April 8. Irving will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 28-2 league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, Lake Highlands moves to 3-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Richardson (Richardson, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 7 outing on Wednesday, April 9. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 10-13. Richardson won 16-5 in their recent league outing against Nimitz (Irving, TX)
