Ohio High School Softball - LaBrae edges McDonald

The LaBrae Vikings softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting McDonald Blue Devils to 6 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garfield for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey battle on Monday, April 7.

With the loss, McDonald moves to 0-4 on the season. The Blue devils host Springfield (New Middletown, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet battle on Monday, April 7. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 2-2. Springfield lost 9-2 in their recent league battle against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH)
