In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Shepherd Hill Regional Rams softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Marlborough Panthers.
The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Crusaders come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Groton-Dunstable was routed by Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA), 9-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 9. Marlborough will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Red Raiders come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA).
