Utah High School Softball - Pinnacle topped by Monticello

April 4, 2025: Price, UT 84501

Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT), 18-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Monticello upgrades its record to 1-5 on the year. The Buckaroo travel to Panguitch (Panguitch, UT) to play the Bobcats in a game on Tuesday, April 8. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 5-2. Panguitch won 21-6 in their recent non-league game against Water Canyon (Hildale, UT)

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Piute for a 2A Central game on Tuesday, April 8. Pinnacle will play a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-7.
