North Carolina High School Softball - West Lincoln bounces Newton-Conover

April 4, 2025: Newton, NC 28658

In Friday's league match, the visiting West Lincoln Rebels softball team scored a nice 20-0 win over the Newton-Conover Red Devils.

The Rebels (10-7) will now prepare for their match against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors come into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A match with a 15-1 record. In their last match, West Caldwell notched a victory over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 14-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A match, on Tuesday, April 8. Newton-Conover will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 11-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Maiden (Maiden, NC).
