The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) and the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), observed Northwestern Lehigh's softball team get by Palmerton by a tally of 7-1.

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Rough Riders go into the Colonial - West bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Catasauqua was routed by Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Bombers battle the Stroudsburg Mountaineers (Stroudsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 5. Palmerton will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record.
