The Oxnard Yellowjackets the visiting San Marcos Royals softball squad by a count of 5-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Monday, April 7. Oxnard will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 6-1 league loss to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA).

The Royals (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions go into the non-league game with a 15-4 record. In their last game, Saugus edged Castaic (Castaic, CA), 4-0, in a league game.
