Next, the Pirates meet the Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Pass Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 9-4 league loss to Greene County (Leakesville, MS).

The Panthers (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Hurricanes enter the 6A Region 4 challenge with a 8-15 record. In their last challenge, West Harrison edged Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS), 8-4, in a non-league challenge.
