In Friday's non-league test, the Summerfield Rebels (Summerfield, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA), by a tally of 16-1.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 7. Summerfield will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Gators go into the test with a 15-13 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA).
The Bobcats (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Mansfield (Mansfield, LA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Mansfield was routed by Lakeside (Sibley, LA), 18-0, in a league test.
