North Carolina High School Softball - Salisbury bounces Thomasville

In Friday's league match, the host Salisbury Hornets softball team scored a nice 18-2 victory over the Thomasville Bulldogs.

The Hornets (8-6) will now prepare for their match against West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Dragons go into the Central Carolina 1A/2A match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, West Davidson gained a win over South Davidson (Denton, NC), 5-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 9. Thomasville will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 1-7 record after their 18-0 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
