The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) and the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), observed Southwestern Randolph's softball team prevail over Trinity by a tally of 18-0.

The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Providence Grove knocked off Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 8-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 7. Trinity will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 18-1 league loss to Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
