The Webb Spartans (Knoxville, TN) baseball got by the visiting King's Academy Lions (Seymour, TN), 13-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knoxville Catholic for a D II-AA East challenge on Monday, April 6. Webb will clash with a Fighting Irish team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 12-11.
With the defeat, King's Academy drops to 12-10 on the year. The Lions travel to Greenback (Greenback, TN) to clash with the Cherokees in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 9. The Cherokees go into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Greenback won 16-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN)
