New Mexico High School Softball - Clovis succumbs to Goddard

In Saturday's non-league test, the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), by a tally of 14-4.
Next, the Rockets clash with the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a 4A District 4 test, on Tuesday, April 14. Goddard will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record.
The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Portales was routed by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 13-11, in a non-league test.
