In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Forreston Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders.
The Cardinals (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Newman Central Catholic ran past Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 6-5, in a league game.
