Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), 7-6 in a league test.

With the win, Holmes upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Aces travel to Currituck County (Barco, NC) to battle the Knights in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Friday, April 8. The Knights come into the test with a record of 8-4. Currituck County lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Holmes (Edenton, NC)
