The Lisle Lions crushed the visiting Herscher Tigers baseball team by a count of 10-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Beecher for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9.
Next, the Tigers face the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight bout, on Wednesday, April 6. Herscher will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 10-8 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL).
