The Pagosa Springs Pirates baseball team (Pagosa Springs, CO), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Monte Vista Pirates (Monte Vista, CO)

The Pirates now hold a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sargent for a 2A/1A Southern Peaks outing on Saturday, April 9. Monte Vista will confront a Farmers team coming off a 18-3 league loss to Del Norte (Del Norte, CO). The Farmers record now stands at 0-3.

Next, the Pirates confront the Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO) in a 3A/2A Intermountain outing, on Saturday, April 9. Pagosa Springs will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 18-1 non-league win over John Mall (Walsenburg, CO).
