The Porter Spartans crushed the host New Caney Eagles baseball team by a count of 10-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Creek for a 5A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, April 12. Porter will face a Lions team coming off a 9-5 league win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-2.
Next, the Eagles face the Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 bout, on Tuesday, April 12. New Caney will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 5-16 record after their 1-0 league loss to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX).
