The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) and the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), saw Fairfax's volleyball squad nip Metro Tech by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Fairfax upgrades its record to 1-11 on the year. The Stampede host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Metro bout on Thursday, April 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)

The Knights now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Camelback for a 5A Metro bout on Thursday, April 7. Metro Tech will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-10.
