Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting New London Whalers (New London, CT), 12-7 in a league battle.

The Wolverines now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 9. Griswold will clash with a Centaurs squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Whalers clash with the Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - II battle, on Thursday, April 7. New London will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Redmen come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 10-5 league win over St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT).
