The Ledyard Colonels lacrosse team scored 16 points and limited the visiting Wheeler Lions to 5 in the Colonels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Stonington toppled Montville (Oakdale, CT), 18-7, in a non-league game.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels enter the Eastern Connecticut - II game with a 1-2 record.
