In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Boca Ciega Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-1 victory over the St. Petersburg Catholic Barons.
The Pirates now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clearwater for a non-league test on Thursday, April 7. Boca Ciega will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Osceola (Seminole, FL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-9.
In their next game, the Barons face the Land O' Lakes Gators (Land O' Lakes, FL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 6. St. Petersburg Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 13-11 non-league win over Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL).
